The Story
As someone who has been always embraced and carefully analyzed her emotions, Menea is familiar with many of the struggles intertwined with humanity and consciousness. The singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist raised in St. Louis, Missouri started writing songs at the age of 10 for the same purpose that most do: to process the world around her and make sense of the senseless. Her emotional awareness and maturity, combined with 12 years of classical training in piano and voice, 5 years of cello studies, self-taught guitar, and an unparalleled love for writing, allowed Menea to blossom as a songwriter and create music that touches parts of the soul often out of reach. Now, based in LA after graduation with a B.M from Berklee College of Music, Menea continues to expand her repertoire and discover exactly who she is as an artist, creating music in styles ranging from indie, pop, R&B, soul, and jazz. Her debut single “I Remember” was released in May of 2021, followed by her EP “Process” that was released in July of the same year, and unsurprisingly, the singer has a lot more in store for the years to come.
